Can someone tell me the best box volume for a 1st gen Adire Audio 18" Maelstrom? (1 Viewer)

I have a new "old" 18" Maelstrom, and I'm wondering if a 24" long length of 24" diameter cylinder would work as an enclosure with my old Adire Audio ADA 1200 plate amp?

This topic isn't that simple. There is free software available to model subwoofer enclosures. Unfortunately, DIY subs isn't a topic that comes up much here, but there are other forums dedicated to it.
