Can I use banana plugs on B&W 600's? (1 Viewer)

I'd like to use banana plugs on my B&W 602/601/CC6 speakers. I've noticed that the little plastic red/black pieces in the middle of the binding posts are removable.

Is the purpose of this to remove and use bananas there?

Yep, Just pull those little plugs out of the holes and plug in the banana plugs. I believe those plastic pieces are required for speakers sold in Europe to prevent confusion with the household power supply.
