I discovered this PC-based calibration software while looking around the ISF website for a contact list of technicians in my area. I was wondering if anyone had any information about it's usefulness in calibrating RPTVs?

It's less likely that my future plans to upgrade to DLP will be killed if I don't have to tell my wife that the display requires a separate investment of several hundred dollars for calibration. LOL.

You should be able to accomplish the same with a disc such as Avia or DVE.

I don't believe that software comes with any colorimetry hardware, so it sould still be useful in basic calibration, but that is all, and you can achieve that with Avia or DVE easily enough.

Something like optic one would be more along what ISF techs would be able to do, since it comes with hardware. But it costs a few grand.
