Broken F-Connector Input! (1 Viewer)

One of my TVs had an unfortunate accident, which resulted in excessive force being exerted on the F-connector input. It hung by a thread for a little longer, then detached completely. Is there any way I can reattach this myself? I am well aware that direct-views (or anything with a CRT for that matter) can be dangerous to mess around with...can this be done safely? Thanks!

This happened to me on a 27 inch during a move...I used the video1 input and used a vcr as the tuner. Good luck.
