I am looking into the HSU-VT2 and also the SVS 25-31PC Is the price difference in the SVS worth it compared to the HSU

If there is no other factor other than price, I think most people would say it's worth it to go for the SVS in this case. Plus, they're shipping with the new driver now.

If you liked the box style sub a little better in addition to the price, then it would be a different story.

Also, know that you could ask for a 22Hz port if you wanted.

Where did you find 25-31pc for $500?

As for some numbers I cut&pasted them from the topic below:

HSU VTF-2: Max SPL = 107.1 dB; 25 Hz SPL = 99.0 dB; 20 Hz SPL = 93.0 dB; $499.00 plus S&H

SVS 20-39cs: Max SPL = 109.5 dB; 25 Hz SPL = 105.8 dB; 20 Hz SPL = 91.0 dB; $449.00 plus S&H plus AMP. 25-31pc is $699.00 plus S&H (NOTE: These measurements are for the larger 20-39 model, not the 25-31)

Sorry for the confusion Jedd I Didn't say you could get one for $500.00 I said I was looking in the $500.00 range (HSU) and is the SVS worth the price difference. I also know that you can't get one (SVS) now but they will be out soon and was wondering if there was a significant difference in out put and quaility.Thanks for your reply. Michael

I would reccomend also browing acoustic-visions.com and seeing what they have. They will build you a sub suited to what you are looking for. They can match paints, sizes, and work with you to get exactly what you wantl. I would email the guys over there and tell them what you are looking for, and see what they can do. I can't give these guys enough praise for the sub they built me. Great product and superb service. Best service out there IMO.
