According to Variety, Jerry Bruckheimer plans to go ahead with a Coyote Ugly 2.
Discuss amongst yourselves. I'm weeping.

Never even saw Coyote Ugly. Now that 2's been greenlit, that kinda tickles me to see 1...makes me wonder, there must have been some redeeming value for them to go ahead with 2.
Or it must be Scott's teaser title that's got me titillated. ;)

I'd be mad except for 2 things:
1) what ELSE is JB going to do that would be worth my time (okay, he gets his hand in some good ones, but you know what I mean).
2) I ain't gotta go see it. :D

Don't get your hopes up for an R rated film. The plan with Coyote Ugly was for it to be PG-13. I remember reading an L.A. Times interview with Bruckheimer at the time of the film's release. They were very much intending to sell the film to teenage girls, something they wouldn't have struggled doing if it were an R rated venture.
