Our living room TV is 5 years old and the backlight is flickering for the first 5-10 minutes or so before it stabilizes. How long do I have before it finally craps out? I figure that, given our proximity to Black Friday/Cyber Monday, now might be a good time to shop for a replacement. This is not the HT TV, but my wife is the primary viewer, so better to replace it before it craps out.
