Avia Pro - What Exactly Will It Contain? When Available? (1 Viewer)

I'm late to the game of buying/using a HT calibration disc. Should I wait for Avia Pro or just buy Avia or S&V HTT now?

I emailed them last week and this is their reply:

"Thank you for contacting Ovation Software. I have a limited number of facts
on Avia Pro, but I encourage you to sign up for the Avia Pro Updates on our
web site. We will be sending out emails as information becomes available.

What I do know is...
We are expecting the release date to be later this spring, probably in May.
Avia Pro will be a series of five DVDs, and as opposed to being the friendly tutorial, these DVDs will be geared towards the professionals who need access to test pattern after test pattern.
I also believe that the expected retail value of this DVD series is $300.00"

I just wanted an updated Avia with 6.1... I couldn't care less about disc after disc of test patterns.

Brian,

I think S&V is not as comprehensive and does not contain some of the tests I'm looking for. It all depends what you need/want to do.
