Are still image frame captures of TV shows protected by fair use doctrines? (1 Viewer)

Let's assume that I'm talking about a private, non-public website (password protected) for a select audience. If I capture various still video frames of a given TV show, am I protected under fair use doctrine?

Anyone know where I can find more info on this kind of situation?

This has nothing to do with adult websites or video clips or anything along those lines.

Well, "the Society for Cinema Studies considers using up to 100 frames fair use". The Unofficial Iron Chef website had some legal issues regarding such use; worth a read.
