Anyone know anything about whole-house humidifiers? The static electricity in our new house is unbearable.

What types are there, which is the best, are any types prone to mold, etc?

Thanks.

If you have a forced air furnace, you can have one attached to it. We have one on our natural gas forced air furnace that works quite well. There is a filter that needs changing every so often, but otherwise I only touch it twice per year -- to turn it on when the furnace gets turned on in the fall, and turn it off when I switch to central air conditioning in the spring.
