It's all I listen to in the truck these days. We had an FM talk station here in austin for a while, and it was great. It folded a while back, so I'm back on AM now. Reception drops a little at night, but the shows get a little weaker then anyway.

My line up: ( I usually catch at least a few minutes of each with various trips)

Imus in the Morning (not my favorite, but it'll do in a pinch)

Don and Mike (radio gods)

Opie and Anthony (maybe the best download website on the net)

Tom Leykis (starts fading again here, but still entertaining)

anyone else?

In Chicago, I listen to Howard Stern in the morning coming to work and Steve Dahl in the afternoon going home from work.

I usually listen to WSB (AM radio) when I'm in the car, but I just got a MP3-capable car-CD deck, so I might just start listening to music again in the car. :)

I'm with Patrick...just put in the MP3 thing in the Expy. Mostly music in the evenings...talk during the day. My wife thinks I'm completely out of it though...I have Polk DX7's all the way around, MTX amps and subs, Kenwood MP3 headunit, GPS, and getting ready to add kick panels...all to listen to Rush!!! IMO, he's never sounded better...you can even hear the snot in his nostrils.

Here in north Texas, I listen mostly to 1310AM The Ticket and 103.3FM ESPN Radio. For me, talk radio seems to stimulate my brain more than music. It makes for great distraction from road rage.

THE BOB & TOM SHOW out of Indianapolis have always been my favorite.
I wish they were carried locally here in Western Washington St.

For talk radio, my favorites are:

Mornings--Lee Rodgers on KSFO.

Late mornings--Rush Limbaugh (syndicated nationally) on KSFO.

Overnight--Art Bell (syndicated nationally) on KSFO.

Morning commute to work: flip between Bob & Tom and Mike & Mike on ESPN radio.

Evening commute back home: local sports talkshow- "Mark Patrick on Sports." I know they recently started a national version of the show, but it's not on here. Has anybody heard it?

I used to check out the political talk shows, but their arrogance and distortions made me too disgusted to continue listening. It used to amuse me, but now I want some music or comedy.

I recently became hooked on Opie & Anthony, ever since I was flipping around and caught Jim Norton in the middle of a rant. That dude is a riot. I'm going to see him in Boston next month.

Scooter, I'm with you man. When I travel to New York it's WABC all day. When I am home I listen to WXTK unless I commute up to my office in Waltham which then consists of:

Lambert & McKeag at 7:00 for my commute

Switch to classical station at work until noon

Rush at noon

Howie Carr at 3:00

Switch to Jay Severin in the car for the commute home

Back to Howie when I lose 96.9 FM talk reception and switch back to Cape Cod's talk WXTK

If it's a late night, I'll listen to Laura Ingraham as well.

- All Things Considered on the way home
- Link Removed while I'm at work. Terry Gross has the coolest job.

I'm with Darren: I only listen to NPR, I wake up to Morning Edition and listen to it on my way to work, and listen to All Things Considered on the way home.

I listen to WEEI in Boston all day for sports talk. It's mostly crap, but it's pretty entertaining. I used to listen to Opie and Anthony every afternoon before they were kicked of WAAF. I haven't listened to them much since they got syndicated.
