Nothing but a guess but I would think that the most frequent that they'd release them is about every 6 months so I wouldn't expect a second season of ILL or The Andy Griffith Show until November. They could even wait until the beginning of the new year to avoid competing with all the other big ticket sets (Batman, The Wonder Years, The Sopranos) at the end of this year.ajabrams said:I was wondering if anyone knows of any plans for further seasons of I LOVE LUCY being released on Blu-ray. I haven't seen any news about this since the release of the Season One BD set.
Especially the first one and the part about Tallulah Bankhead being allergic to strawberries; there's a whole joke based around that fact, and without it being mentioned, it makes no sense.rmw650 said:I agree on the last part of your statement as I've been spotting original footage on four of those 13 episodes on YouTube and why they (CBS/Paramount) didn't come to bother to include the entire uncut versions of these shows is quite mystifying, to say the least.
Yes, and the people saying they will wait for a complete series set, will insure no further seasons will be released due to poor sales.classicmovieguy said:I imagine Paramount would be observing sales of the first season very closely before announcing any further sets.
