Pretty sure Chrome on iPad uses the Safari rendering engine.
Unless something's changed, that is exactly what it does. Apple doesn't allow other "full" browsers in the iPhone/iPad. All of them for those devices are essentially skins for Safari.Pretty sure Chrome on iPad uses the Safari rendering engine.
Well, the Chrome skin is faster than Safari.Unless something's changed, that is exactly what it does. Apple doesn't allow other "full" browsers in the iPhone/iPad. All of them for those devices are essentially skins for Safari.
You might report that in the feedback thread. Dave Upton's testing had him thinking it was just Safari, and working in Chrome, Edge, and Firefox.Links are also not working with Firefox on my desktop.
I've been patching this software, and it seems to be getting better. I'm still working on itThat Krups link notwithstanding, Amazon links seem to be working more often than not now.
Well I'll be danged! In all the years I've frequented HTF I've *never* noticed the "Shop" drop down! I've always just looked for a link to a release and shopped through that. The Shop dropdown is much more convenient! How have I missed that all these years?!?Charles, you will need to click on the little arrow next to shop to get the menu to show up. Then click on shop Amazon and you should be all set
Oh, how embarrassing!
I was careless with that because it looked like those headings and their arrows might be linked, as they often are elsewhere, even without a box around them. But no more excuses. Thanks, Dave!
Good catch. I'll see if we can adjust thisI now see that the word and its arrow both change color when hovering over either one. Since two different actions are involved, that's misleading.
