A Quick Query About the Joker UHD Blu-ray... (1 Viewer)

Don't have it, sorry. I should have been more specific in my first post. I was just letting you know that I've never heard the drive in my 9000 make any noises, and I've played hundreds of discs with it, both Blu-ray and 4K UHD.

Well, this is the first time I'm hearing noises, as well, and I too have played hundreds of discs on mine. I'm wondering if this is just one of those titles that "trip up" the unit, as I'm told this happens with owners of the Oppo 203 and certain UHD discs; it could also be that this particular disc is a bit out of spec in terms of physical stamping/pressing.

It doesn't make any noise during the feature, which I suppose is the main thing...

Update:

Played Joker again last night and it made the strange noises when loading up and moving from the different menus, eventually to the setup menu...and again, they stopped when I played the feature.

And this was AFTER I ran a brushless laser lens cleaner through the deck...
