I checked, I streamed WWC from Vudu. Is it Vudu's policy to automatically upgrade? If Paramount did a new scan then that HD stream will be upgraded to it.

Orange is closer to the true colour of the "red" planet. You’re seeing it through a bit of haze. It’s 78 million miles away. You should see what Earth looks like on your OLED from that distance.
Agreed. I wanted to get some confirmation as to the color on original 1953 prints, and am happy with what Criterion has given us. Not only per colo, but overall resolution. It’s a superior disc to the new 4k.Orange is closer to the true colour of the "red" planet.

Thanks Robert, for this very helpful review. I am so thankful I have the Criterion version. I'd prefer to go with the intended look for one of my favorite sci-fi movies, than a screwed up 4k conversion any day.Nor is it 3D.
Yes, I set my DVR to record it. I haven't seen it in decades. When Worlds Collide is on TCMHD right now. Looks like the Imprint Blu-ray except I'm seeing more details and deeper color than the dvdbeaver screen shots.

Vudu doesn't automatically upgrade digitals to 4K. However, they do upgrade HD digitals quite often. Just last week, I had about ten titles that were in SD that upgraded to HD.
Good to hear some comments on WWC streaming. Now all we need is for someone to compare the stream and the Paramount Blu-ray!When Worlds Collide is on TCMHD right now. Looks like the Imprint Blu-ray except I'm seeing more details and deeper color than the dvdbeaver screen shots.

Looked excellent to me. I didn’t see any scratches per the review of the Imprint release.Good to hear some comments on WWC streaming. Now all we need is for someone to compare the stream and the Paramount Blu-ray!
