Moonraker is a top 3 for me, watched it again recently and it holds up really well. Great cast and locations, and Michael Lonsdale makes a memorable megalomaniac villain. Ahead of its time with the Space Shuttle two years before its debut. Impatiently waiting for a 4k.

Technically, the shuttle program began atmospheric test flights a couple years before Moonraker. But yes, did not launch into orbit until a couple years after the film.

It’s been available in 4K on iTunes for years now. Looks and sounds awesome. Don’t hold your breath for a physical release.
