9 speaker setup? (1 Viewer)

here's my plan. I am gonna be getting a 6.1 capable reciever soon. I was planning on putting having four surrounds. 2 slightly ahead of the sitting position 2 slightly behind, and the two rear channel speakers. If anyone has done this would you please share your opinions on it.
I don't have to buy any additional speakers for this setup. I've made quite a collection of them and this is what I want to do with them. So it's not like this is costing me any extra money.

PS. The 4 surrounds are identical so I am not worried about getting some bad sounds from mixing speaker types.

I doubt the receiver will be able to safely handle the extra speakers, so plan on adding an outboard amp. The receiver will have to have the appropriate line outputs for those channels, too.
