32 Inch HDTV - what else do I need (1 Viewer)

I am considering a 32 inch HDTV set. I currently have a DIRECTTV. I watch mostly TV. What would I else would I need to purchase to take full advantage of the TV. Here is what I think.

1. New oval dish and receiver to get HDTV from DirectTV.
2. A STB to get over the air HDTV from my local channels.
3. I would move the TIVO to the basement and run 2 lines of cable to that box and 1 line of cable from the dish to the HDTV.

What else might I be missing besides, cables, etc. What is the approximate cost of those major items.

Todd, You would only need the one set top box..All the HD recievers available, for direct tv, are also able to receive digital OTA signals..The only other thing you would need is an ota antenna..

Don't forget a nice progressive scan DVD player to take full advantage of 480p during the times you want to watch DVD movies Thte cost is substantially less then what you have figured for an OTA STB, so their are your funds for it
