Does anyone have any info, data, guesses on what 4K, Blu Ray Projects we might see in 2022? We know about Star Trek: The Motion Picture the Directors Cut being worked on, but anything else? It would be nice if there was any gossip on upcoming projects. Remember when we had a three month window on when DVD's would come out after hearing the news releases? We're all busy with real life, but it would be nice to hear anything on any projects?

Perhaps, it's because so much unreleased material has come out, and it's getting harder to find films/tv that have been neglected.

Not exactly 4K, but there was some talk that television's Guns of Paradise season 2 and 3 might come out in 2022.

Warner is working on Ben Hur. Rumor was that we would see it by year's end, but as the product announcement window is closing I am getting less confident we will.

There was another rumor, upon Criterion's Blu-ray release of FAST TIMES AT RIDGEMONT HIGH, that Universal was working on a 4k release for 2022.

Wish some forgotten tv children's specials could make it out on DVD? there was NBC's special Treat which aired in the mid seventies which had some good material: The Miss Pickerell tv movies, The Enormous Egg, Something for Joey, etc? Always wondered how they would hold up with today's viewership?

Yes, there was an online retailer who had it up for pre-order, but no release date. I'd think it's a sure thing for next year

Any news on White Christmas and North by Northwest?

007 is celebrating its 60th anniversary in 2022.
I would expect the remaining James Bond films 1962-2002 to come out on UHd disc. They are all on iTunes in 4k digital currently.

Another set of classic Star Trek films may be announced in February as well.

The Bits says there might be another batch of Star Trek films in 4K in February, when the first four are being re-released.

Maybe another set in September too? There’s a September 4 date listed on regal cinemas for wrath of khan 40th screenings!

Any chance for a physical media 4K UHD release for the 1947 version of Miracle on 34th Street in the new year?. I am worried about the potential for that now that it is a Disney property. I had been hoping the 1973 TV movie could be cleared for a DVD release period as well. But I’m less optimistic about that with every passing year

I’d love to grab this one on 4k.

There was a rumor floating around that White Christmas and North By Northwest were coming to 4k. Obviously unconfirmed and nothing has been announced.

I’m concerned about 20th century and Disney as well. I’d really like to see all of the Marilyn Monroe films released in 4k. I hope Disney will release some more older fox content in 4k.
