007 for Gamecube problems?? (1 Viewer)

i saw on another site that people are having problems with offbrand gamecube controllers (aka madcatz or the G3)in multiplayer mode not resonding at all. can anyone confirm this?

Not sure about the gamecube version but this was true with the PS2 version. I tried using an old Mad Catz dual shock for 4 player once and it wouldn't work. As soon as I plugged in an official Sony Dual Shock, it worked fine.

Yeah, I tried playing with an offbrand controller and it doesn't work. I thought maybe there was something wrong with my controller but it still works with other games. I'll have to buy a fifth controller if there's no fix.
