We just finished upgrading a client's theater with Sony's VPL-VW5000ES projector. The image quality is by far the best I have ever seen on a front projection system.

Is that controversial? Should it be? It was shot on 2K Alexa's, yet is slated to be one of the first UHD titles released. Should ALL 4K UHD discs have a completely 4K workflow? Just curious about what the forum thinks, thanks.
Question as per title, but I'd like to break it down just a little.
HDR currently appears to be about 3 things:
- 4k resolution
- Improved colour space
- Greater contrast
I'd love to hear from the knowledgeable people here who've worked in the industry about the benefits HDR will bring...
