    Sound Meter - Sub Woofer

    I have adjusted all speaker levels with a sound meter and test tone at about 75dbdb, BUT to be at the same level as the other speakers the sub woofer ends up being turned up to 100% volume. This is way way way too lound, I normally don't have it more than 50% Any ideas on whats going on...

    rear tower speakers

    yup I agree towers for fronts ... but these are a 2nd pair of towers that I use for rears ie. I have no small rears. so I was wondering and I'll try it and mount them high up on the wall .. it just looks a bit odd with these great big towers up on the wall

    7.1 speakers volume low

    when calibrating all speakers give the same volume. but on playback (with a few diff movies) the volume from the 7.1 rears are very very low ... anyway no big deal I'll just bump them up .. just wondering compared say to the side surrounds how lound the rears normally are thanks
