Ok... I have an denon 3803 and a sony dvd player DVP-N725P.. I know if you put it at 00 db is should be really loud.. the funny thing is when I put an DVD and turn it to 00 db .. it's not that loud .. but if I put an CD in there and turn it to 0 db .. it's really loud.. same as if I switch it to...

As know the denon 3803 is always on standby .. when the power is off.. I am just wondering .. if I am removing or plugging conection to the receiver .. should I completly unplug the receiver ...or is it ok .. to do it .. when it is on standby? John

How come when I put on DTS .. the talking come from the back? and when I change it to Dolby Digital the talking come from the centre speaker .. So how do I change it to DTS with talking in the centre speaker? ...does this have to do with my DVD player or the receiver?
