I first read about this over 2 weeks ago on another forum. I agree with a previous writer this may be there way to get around retail price, or take extra discounts from Denon.

the denon refurb warranty is 90 days. Ecost extended warranty was 59 for 1 year after the 90 days and 79 for 2 years.
