AWESOME news! Love all 3 titles, but I'm especially excited about Calamity Jane as I didn't really expect that one so soon, and I love me some Doris Day.
Here's hoping that there are a few more Doris Day gems on the cards from Warner. And I'd be so thrilled if Universal followed up their stellar "Pillow Talk" release and gave us "Lover Come Back", my favourite of the Day/Hudson films.

Whaaaat??

This was certainly unexpected, especially the titles chosen. Some might have wanted different films, but I'll gladly take what I can get and these titles aren't anything to sneeze at.

Altogether now -

Oh! The Deadwood Stage is a-rollin' on over the plains,
With the curtains flappin' and the driver slappin' the reins.
Beautiful sky! A wonderful day!
Whip crack-away!, Whip crack-away!, Whip crack-away!

I want all three, especially The Band Wagon, my favorite MGM musical not starring Gene Kelly.

This is excellent news and I shall be buying Calamity Jane and Kiss Me Kate. Slightly disappointed it doesn't say Volume 1 as High Society, Three Little Words, and The Belle of New York are higher up my wish list. Hopefully they will sell well.

I saw KISS ME KATE in 3-D on the big screen sometime in the early '90s at Film Forum in New York. It remains the best use of 3-D I've seen in any film from that first wave of 3-D.

I am so excited for Kiss Me Kate! To quote the late, great Robin Williams in The Birdcage:

"Aaaaaaaand Fosse! Fosse! Fosse! Fosse!"
