Wasn't KMK in three channel (LF - C - RF) stereo sound with no surround?

Yes, the original 1953 mix was three track: L, C, R.


It's one of only two surviving stereo tracks from a 1953 3-D movie. The other is IT CAME FROM OUTER SPACE.


There were originally 14 3-D features (at least) released with stereo tracks.
