Sadly TCM is showing it in 1:33 and definitely not in HD.

Dammit. I was watching a disc tonight...and am taping it on my DVR.

Oh well.

I guess that's what the "delete" button is for.

Yup.

There seems to be something wrong with this picture...

I though it might be interesting to list the VistaVision titles that have been released on blu-ray:

1954: White Christmas

1955: Richard III

Run for Cover

The Trouble With Harry

To Catch A Thief

1956: Battle of the River Plate

The Man Who Knew Too Much

The Mountain

The Searchers

The Ten Commandments

War and Peace

1957: Funny Face

Gunfight at the O.K. Corral

1958: Rock-a-bye Baby

The Buccaneer

The Geisha Boy

Vertigo

1959: North by Northwest

The Jayhawkers

Releases seem to have completely dried up and this may be the final list. I hope not, and the other titles I would like are:

1955: Artists and Models

1956: High Society

The Court Jester

1958: Houseboat

Teacher's Pet

Mr. Cobby, thanks for posting this. Very good information to have.

I've previously mentioned my interest in a SAC release on blu-ray in another thread, but I'd love to see The Court Jester and Houseboat as well on blu. I recently re-watched Houseboat on the old DVD and it's a great film.

I'd also like to see:

1957: Loving You

1959: Last Train From Gun Hill

All the additional ones you would like have been aired in HD already, so another two or three so-so Blu-rays may be in the cards.

I am missing One Eyed the most and of that one we do not even have a decent DVD :(

I believe you are missing War and Peace with Audrey Hepburn. Not a great Blu-ray, and watching it, it isn't that easy to tell it was Vistavision, but it was, nonetheless.

Thanks, I compiled the list from memory (never infallible) and have added it. Also forgot Run for Cover, the Cagney western.

The three channel Perspecta stereo track on STRATEGIC AIR COMMAND is probably the best of the VistaVision titles.

Every time the plane engines rev up, the center channel sound jumps to all three speakers at top volume. It really packs a punch!
