Good Television Mini Series Events (1 Viewer)

Recently, I purchased the complete DVD sets of North and South, The winds of War and War and Remembrance. The picture Quality was great considering these series were made in the 1980s. Nowadays, miniseries events are not as common on ABC, NBC or CBS. What are some other mini series’ that are on DVD or Blu Ray?

Both V and V The Final Battle are on blu-ray.

Centennial is a masterpiece as long as you skip the last episode. Also good is The Blue and The Gray.

I know that the 1979 From Here to Eternity miniseries was included on the Columbia Classics Vol. 3 Blu-Ray release as an extra.

I bought the Amazon digital version of North and South complete series in HD.
Rich Man,Poor Man and Masada on dvd both are great.Shogun on blu ray is awesome

Lonsesome Dove the first one is one of the best mini series.
Shogun is pretty great too.


Martian Chronicles starts off well but gets not well towards the end.
