I took the plunge and decided to go with JBL.

I got the E80's (2)
The EC 250 center
E10 surrounds (2)
And the E150 sub.

Also got the Yamaha 5750 receiver.

Total price before tax was $1050.

Also bought a 55' Mitsubishi rear projection crt, HDTV.
That priced out at $1509 before tax.

Total out of pocket, with tax was just under $2700.

On top of that, I got $290 in gift cards (free)for future purchases.

Congrat's Jim! You'll love that real Theater Movie crystal clear and dynamic playback with your new JBL's!

To fully enjoy your new HT, you Must REFERENCE Calibrate your whole setup using either your AV Receiver's test tones (@75 dB) or AVIA (@85 dB) and Radio Shack SPL (sound pressure level) Meter.

Read my "CALIBRATION TECHNIQUES" webpage to get an idea how it's done!

Once you play your first blockbuster DVD, you wonder why you didn't upgrade to DD-5.1 sooner!!! ;)

Congrats. I LUV my setup.

I have not calibrated yet. I am holding out until the Pio 1015tx comes out and just plan on using the MCACC so I don't have to drop 50 on an SPL.

Nice setup!

It will sound even better in a week or 2. Mine REALLY opened up.
