The film career of Zsa Zsa Gabor didn't amount to much. A few small roles in a few films, and that was about it. Some of these films have survived and are available on disc: Lovely To Look At and Touch of Evil being good examples.

More than anyone else, Zsa Zsa Gabor was famous for being famous. She was also famous for being unashamedly mercenary about being married, and that was possibly the main reason she became very famous without becoming very popular.

It is sometimes forgotten that in the early 1950s, Zsa Zsa Gabor was very good-looking in the way that was much-admired at the time.

Perhaps that is how we should remember her. May she rest in peace.

Very sad news but she lived a long and full life. She was the epitome of a film star, and I shall be watching Queen of Outer Space and Death of a Scoundrel, my two favourite films of hers.

In her own, unique way, she was a classy woman.

She at least acted in a few films. What is Kim Kardashian really famous for? Having an ass shelf that you can park your beer on? She may have been mercenary.......but let's face it.......I'm sure most of the guys she married only considered her a trophy wife anyway. Also, in that time there weren't many ways for a woman to get ahead. Marrying for money was considered one of the few ways of doing it. She just managed to turn it into a fine art. RIP.
