Hello,

Still looking for an older 5.1 receiver of any make, brand, size, brand, etc. I could care less about features as long as it works. If you have an older 5.1 receiver for under $100 for sale I would love to hear from you. Thanks

Does it have to have the 5.1 decoder built in?

I have an Harman Kardon AVR-5, circa 1998, which accepts 5.1 direct analog inputs. Would this suffice?

The Sherwood is gone back up to $179. I haven't checked this for awhile.

Scott, I will keep the HK in mind. DD decoding would be nice, but I have a DVD player that could decode.
