Has anybody seen that Velodyne now has a Clear Acrylic HGS-10? I'm wondering how 4 of these babies, two stacked in each front corner, would perform? Sure would look cool...

I was at the store a couple of days ago and saw the usual acrylic HGS-10 (the stores always had the see-through model for show.) But then I saw a price tag on for the clear model. I assumed they are officially maketing what originally was the dealer display units.

I think the acrylic cabinet sounds more live than the MDF units, but I didn't do a side by side knuckle test, but then, the cabinets I've knocked on are usually the $10k+ speakers where it is absolutely dead, so my 1 sec test might be skewed by those results.
