Yeah, Barry got really luck to pair up his big slick on the flop.

This was one of the best WPT events I've seen, the action was fast and furious, and was glad that Robin Hood put the Dream Crusher out to pasture.

Yep great tourney. I felt sorry for my pick Chip Reese, he had great starting hands and the flop damn near killed all of them (I've been there).

Me too, Jensen sure is cocky, I would love to see him and Phil Helmuth at a final table, now that would be great, better yet in a heads up tourney.

NEXT UP: L.A. Poker Classic at the Commerce Casino No pick for me next week as I played in this tourney and I know who won. Anyone what to make a bet???? LOL :D

Very cool. Anybody memorable at your table (or tables)?

Also, do you have a list of who sat at the final table?

I will probably root against Dream Crusher at future events should he make the final tables on the WPT. I do agree that a heads-up match between him and Phil Hellmuth would be entertaining, but I'd have no idea who to root for...

I'm probably going to be in LA for a week in May and again in June. Would you suggest Commerce or The Bicycle as the place I should go play while I'm there?

Now I didn't want to spoil anything, but was that the weirdest final table?

My wife said, and now I remembered, I played with TJ, Chip Jett, and sat near Mel Judah. Those are the ones I can think of off the top of my head, as it was in late February.

I have never been to the Bicycle Casino. But I an tell you that the Commerce is awesome, I have never seen so many poker tables, it is unreal. Played some live games there. Just as a reminder they have two poker areas. One area has high stakes, Starting? 20-40, 50-100, 100-200 and on up. Also one area that plays the lower limits, I think they start at 2-4 and up to 10-20 or so. Have Fun!

There is no end to Clonie's luck, although she appeared to have solid play as well until she got reckless at the end allowing Evelyn to flip flop the chip count. Amazing that Clonie took out every player (or at least it seemed that way).

Poor Annie Dukes, she couldn't catch a break when it was all going her way. Jennifer Harmon's "woe is me" act when she was playing possum got old fast.

I didn't see the episode, but since it was an "invitational", what was the financial arrangment. Did the players really put up their own money (what was the buy in) and what was the payout?

Aruba Classic
Wednesday, May 12, 2004, 9PM E/P

Seat 1: Rick Casper Starting Chip Count: $536,000
Seat 2: Barry Shulman Starting Chip Count:$792,000
Seat 3: Ted Harrington Starting Chip Count:$763,000
Seat 4: Anthony Fagan Starting Chip Count: $907,000
Seat 5: Daniel Larsson Starting Chip Count: $743,000
Seat 6: Erick Lindgren Starting Chip Count: $633,000

Should be interesting everyone is pretty close in chips.

Not in Invintational and I can't remeber the payout. Ladies noght was more of a special showcasing the woman. I belive there has only been 2 woman who made it to the final table at a WPT Event (Kathy Liebert & Maureen Feduniak) So I think they wanted to give them there own show.

Good grief, I can't believe Tonya from Big Brother 2 was on this episode and got married at the end.

Someone needs to commit Shana's piece on "the nuts" to the poker hall of fame.

I'm sure I'm not the only WPT viewer who made some inappropriate comments when Vince announced that Shana was about to talk about "the nuts". :D :D :D
