The career will fade in about two years (probably right after she stars in a movie that no one will see, like "Spice World"), then the inevitable comeback attempt, which will also fail. It'll take another year after that before the money really starts to run out.

I will not buy another Britney album (Yes I bought her debut, got tired of it withing days - what was I thinking?!?!) nor will I admit she is a good artist until she: 1. WRITES her own songs, 2. Wears APPROPRIATE clothes.
With artists like Nelly Furtado, Lene Marlin, Tegan & Sara, Michelle Branch and Alicia Keys, we all know that young girl singers CAN make good music and not rely on fake looks that would give a 80-Year-Old Impotant man a boner in 3.9 Milliseconds without the help of viagra. So why hasn't Britney learned how to be truely respected for the artist that she COULD become...
I still hope she'll do something decent for her 4th album...

Speaking of Playboy did anyone see the Fryers Club Roast of Hugh Hefner last night? I can't remember who it was but someone asked him when he was going to get Britney to pose in Playboy.

Is she even the original artist? I heard that most or all of her hits are actually cover songs. I'm not saying that she's a no-talent plagiarist like Puff Diddler or whatever, but I don't think she's the writer or original performer.

I would expect her to be washed up and residing in the "Where are they now Files" within a few years from now. But I also thought that exact same thing a few years ago

It seems that the musical tastes of the average consumer has gone so far down hill that acts like N' SYNCH & Brit Spears may actually go on to have rather long careers

We who line up to buy Britney's albums may have shallow taste in music, but why do the "sophisticated" readers of Playboy feel they have the right to judge us? You can call Britney shallow, but don't be surprised if she thinks the same of you.
