Will THUNDERBALL be released separately?

Well I just got the second volume of the Bond sets. I don't care to get the third set as it contains my least favorite Bond films, with the exception of Thunderball.

Now I know the single SE is out of print, so I'm wondering if anybody knows of plans that MGM may have to start re-releasing the Bond SE DVD separately after the sets? Or will have to go Ebay hunting for this title?

I don't know, but if the history of Bond releases (on laserdisc, at least) is any indication, I think you can rest assured that you'll have Thunderball sooner rather than later...

Paul - It appears you will have to find it used as MGM will not release Thunderball for sale individually this time around.
The current sets will be available until January 2004.

FYI - MGM is remastering the audio on Dr.NO - The Man With The Golden Gun. These new dvd's will most likely street when Bond 21 is released in 2005.

    Here's a story link:

I've previously picked up all the films as they've been released so I didn't have to get them this time as they are the same discs released in 1999-2000.
I'm actually a big Roger Moore fan so I consider his films in set 3 as essential.
John Corks extras on all of the older Bond films are such a treat to watch. I really enjoy the documentaries.

These Bond releases have been crazy.

I bought most of the Bonds I wanted in '00 (Moore, Connery, Brosnan).
Thunderball was the one that I waited on getting and I eventually found it new on Ebay and did not pay an arm and a leg.
