will Japanese Gamecube componentcables work in NA? (1 Viewer)

I can't find Gamecube component cables here and Nintendo.com won't ship to Canada but my sister is in Japan right now. If she can find Gamecube component cables there will they work for my Gamecube?

I don't see why they won't. Memory cards and controllers work on other region consoles.

I have the Japanese cables and they work fine. Just make sure it is the component cables and not the D cable (it may be called something else).
