Why did TVShowsOnDVD shut down? (1 Viewer)

I'm trying to figure out an exact reason why the site shut down because I do not use Facebook and Twitter.

Tried looking at the Facebook comments for an explanation, but they took forever to load, so I would like to get an answer here.
