Whistle from some cable channels... (1 Viewer)

Greetings-

At home I am running a digital cable box and noticed that some channels have a high-pitched whistle in them. I wish I was one of those guys that could tell you the freq, but can't. It's not on every channel, but on many of them. Seems to be primarily on channels < 100. I hadn't noticed it before - but I'm not really sure how long it may have been there.

Any ideas?

Is this interference from my own components? If so, why would it only be apparent on some channels and not others?
Is this something I go to my cable provider (Time Warner) about?
