SPOILER ALERT !!!!Looks more like 4 separate prints. The amount of splicing tape to put it together would be enough to patch the ship.
I don't really have insight into IMAX print assembly, but they could be using ultrasonic to join the polyester print stock. That would at least leave the denouement intact!SPOILER ALERT !!!!
Not surprising as there was hardly anyone at the counter when I went there. It was mostly drop-off service. I guess people will have to take their film to the place they took it before ...And Costco just announced that they will no longer be processing photo prints come February.
I grew up watching the b&w version of Doctor X on WPIX's Chiller Theatre. I've read somewhere that that version no longer survives. True?
I have two of John Bengtson's books "Silent Echoes, Discovering Early Hollywood Thru The Films of Buster Keaton" and "Silent Traces, Discovering Early Hollywood Through The Films of Charlie Chaplin". Both are excellent and lots of pictures of their filmed locations.Silent-film gold was made in this humble Hollywood alley. But how would you know? There's no sign
In an unnamed and unheralded alley just south of Hollywood Boulevard, Charlie Chaplin, Harold Lloyd and Buster Keaton filmed scenes in some of their greatest films. It deserves recognition.www.latimes.com
Although I don't know if I'd call it Oscar-winning, his performance in Men in Black absolutely MADE that movie for me. Brilliant, physical work.An Oscar winning performance if there ever was one!
