I am looking at both these receivers and am having a hard time deciding. I need some help here please. What is your opinion?? Or is it worth breaking out the $$$ and going for the THX Ultra2 Certification and going with the Denon AVR4802R.

    Hello Baja,

Just got the new Sound & Vision in the mail. The 7200 is one of 3 receivers tested along with the Onkyo 900 and the JVC DP9V. You may want to give it a read.

Personally I favor H/K but that's my taste. The 7200 is 53lbs of honest, capable receiver though it carries no THX certification. The versatile bass management offered is the clincher.

Hmmm. Throwing the 4802R into the mix really unsettles things...have to admit I would be sorely tempted by it.

    Good Luck.
