What are the Video in for on a receiver?

    What are the video in for in a receiver?

    some with older televisions do not have enough video inputs to accomodate all of their source components. hence, they use their receiver as a video switcher.

    in this way, you have a tv with only one composite input yet you have two video sources with composite outs, the reciever would act as the video switcher.
