Vertical banding and Sony HS20 (1 Viewer)

Does everyone with a Sony HS20 have vertical banding issues?
If so, does it fade with distance like SDE?

A definite no on that one.

Bump - I witnessed faint gray lines (VPL HS-20), and the picture was VERY red.

I am hoping that the store had the projector set up wrong, the salesman present really had no answers to my questions, and said that the guy who was more knowledgeable is on vacation and should be back next week.

I really loved the picture, other than the vertical banding and the red-washed look.

No, no vertical banding issues. It sure sounds like setup/source problems to me- the color issues are a dead giveaway, as this is wrong, too.

Be careful about judging PJs from a dealer visit. Rarely are they set up anywhere near optimum, or even acceptable.
