Used Sony 7700 or new Pany RV31?? (1 Viewer)

The Sony will cost more but am looking for most bang for the buck and best picture quality. Will be moving my current Toshiba 2108 to a secondary system. No progressive scan TV yet so don't need a progressive scan unit. All suggestions welcome.

I've seen the Sony new for under $400. At that kind of price I'd get for build quality, picture quality and so forth.
