Two types of packaging for Moulin Rouge (1 Viewer)

I was at my local rental shop today and saw that they had Moulin Rouge packaged in a copper colored double disc alpha case instead of the cardboard one.

Now I do love the cardboard foldout case because it is much more pleasing to the eye but over time these things can pose a problem.Even without alot of moving around the corners get chewed up and sometimes the discs are a pain to get out of the spindle.

I was just curious if these are only offered to rental chains or if this is a second form of packaging Fox is using after it's initial release.

The copper case was only used for certain rental accounts.
