Tipping a Pioneer Projection (1 Viewer)

What does everyone think of tipping a Pioneer SD-643-HD5 on it's side in order to get it around a corner when moving it down my basement stairs? If not that, does anyone know if this one can be disassembled in anyway?

are you sure it would make much of a difference? most of the sets i've looked at have been within an inch or two height vs. width. but that could be enough.
