The Rock Criterion - DTS..Any good? (1 Viewer)

I concur that this is an AWESOME disc! It helps that I love the movie too. I've noticed, and maybe someone can help explain, that when I switch back and forth between dts and DD that the onscreen display of my Toshiba SD1200 says "dts 2CH" while ALL others dts movies (T2, Cast Away, SPR, etc.) say "dts 6CH". My Yamaha RXV-800 receiver still displays the dts logo as it does on all other movies, but to me, the dts sounds weaker. It's still good, just nothing like the DD. Could the disc posibly have been encoded wrong, or is my OSD just misinformed????

The Criterion version contains an excellent Transfer, anamorpically enhanced with excellent contrast and detail.
