The Beaver compares the previous SD releases of The Loneliness of The Long Distance Runner with the new Region B BD release from the BFI here.

The BFI also releases Saturday Night and Sunday Morning on BD at the same time (in the proper 1.66:1 ratio), and, if anything IMHO the transfer is even better.

I would love to own both of those but sadly they are not region free... I wish we got titles like this on BLU in the US... it could be a while on these titles for me.
