My best friend moved to Argentina about 10 years ago and comes home to the US for 3 weeks at a time. He sends me lists of movies that he sees coming out and makes it VERY clear that I must have these in my collection before he arrives. He says he doesn't even bother to go to the movies, just waits to get to the US.
Than we spend hours watching whole movies and hours watching parts of others. I'm up to 250 movies in the collection half due to his heckling, but for my wife, myself and friends, the home theater blows away anything other than the best first run houses in NYC and Westwood. Now that I live in a town without a movie theater (Half Moon Bay, a suburb of SF), the HOme Theater rules!
