The Archies classic cartoons on dvd September 2 !!!!!!

    The only sad thing about it is the date, i did a search for archies on dvd empire , and it shows that date.

    After looking closer at the cover art, i seem to make out that its not the old cartoons, but a new version, feature length at that !!![​IMG] [​IMG]

    It's part of a series of stuff like this...new "made-for-video feature-length 'films' ". Here are 3 examples I saw in Wal-Mart tonight for under $10 each:

    There are roughly 5-6 others besides these, all either lesser-known properties (Time Kid, Groove Squad) or interpretations of "classics" (Zorro, 20000 Leagues, Treasure Island).

    Yuck! I was hoping that it was going to be the classic Archies.
    Anyone else want the U.S. of Archie, or Archie's Funhouse?

    David, yeah thats the one im talking about. Wonder if it will be as good as the old show ?
