The war preempted Star Search......

So what happened?

Is it going to air again or something?

I'm in the east, so I got to see part of it. The young singer & dancer categories went on as scheduled. Then the first comedian did his act, & right before the judges gave their ratings, CBS News broke in, & stayed with news the rest of the evening.

Since it was live, I wonder if they just stopped the show. They couldn't really continue, since the home audience has a role in the voting. (Unless they decided to go on & tape the rest of the show, just using the judges' scores.)

Since it was the finals, & the winner of each category gets $100,000, it will be interesting to see how this is handled.
